Terms and Conditions

When booking an event or appearance with Parties with a Princess the below policies must be adhered to. Once a booking has been secured by way of a deposit, the below policies are automatically accepted by the client.

Bookings are not confirmed until we have received a deposit. Please note, we may still accept bookings for the same date until you have paid and secured it.

The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before we travel.

Failure to settle the balance in advance could forfeit your booking.

After your booking has been secured by way of a deposit, you may change or postpone your booking (subject to availability) up until 7 days before your event.

Once within 7 days of your event, your booking becomes locked-in and cannot be adjusted.

Deposits may not be transferred within the 7 day period and will be forfeited if you wish to postpone or cancel. Any remaining balance paid however, may be transferred or returned to you.

In the unlikely event of a performer being unwell and unable to attend your party, all possible efforts will be made to find a replacement for your party. If we cannot provide a service due to illness or extenuating circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

Whether you choose to host your party in your own home, at a community centre or other venue, your performer asks for enough room for the guests to be able to sit in a circle comfortably. We love to perform outside in the summer, but please make sure that there is plenty of cool shade for our performers, please also ensure that you have an indoor alternative should the weather change.

We travel by car, so please provide us with any parking arrangements prior to the party. A charge of 30p per mile will be added to the fee as well as any toll charges and car parking charges. Travel cost is a minimum of £5.00.

We have a capacity of 25 children to one performer, any more will require an additional character, prices are listed on the packages page.

Our performers are children’s entertainers and not child carers or child minders. Therefore, you must make sure there is suitable adult supervision at all times (this is especially important for babies, toddlers and children with additional needs)

If at any time during a party or visit the performer feels uncomfortable due to the behaviour of those present (this includes both the behaviour of children and adults) the performer will notify the booker. If that behaviour continues the performer will leave immediately and full payment will still be required.

Your performer may be unable to sing at the party due to illness or other problems. It is completely within the rights of our performers to refrain from vocal performance without notice.

We strongly suggest turning bouncy castles off and trying to keep background noise to a minimum when our performers are entertaining. Your performer will not be able to keep the attention of ALL the guests if there are multiple distractions and other activities going on. Sometimes, it isn’t possible to turn bouncy castles off or pack away soft play equipment, if that is the case the performer is not expected to keep the attention of ALL your guests.

It is not the intention of Parties with a Princess to violate any copyright laws. Parties with a Princess characters are NOT name brand copyrighted characters. Our characters are generic and we can only accept bookings from individuals who are aware that we DO NOT represent any licensed character. If you are requiring a licensed, copyrighted character for your event, you should contact the license holder.

We look forward to hearing from you!
